Have you watched Bullet Brawl yet? This two-hour monthly arena sees titled players compete against each other at lightning speed using a 1+0 time control.
While you might not be able to compete with GM Hikaru Nakamura in the titled event, we have good news for you if you’re a fan of playing fast chess…
Introducing Community Bullet Brawl!
Happening at the exact same time as the titled version, the Community Bullet Brawl event lets you compete against other community members using a 1+0 time control.
It’s open to enter for everyone, whether you’re a beginner just wanting to have fun or an advanced player looking to claim a win in a competitive online arena.
How To Play
Join the official Chess.com Community Club and register in the tourney to participate in the event. Be sure to register at least one hour before the starting time. However, we recommend doing this as soon as possible to avoid any last-minute issues.
Format
The Community Bullet Brawl consists of a two-hour bullet arena with a 1+0 time control. This event is a score-based arena where players are paired based on their scores instead of their rating. The player with the most points at the end of the arena wins.
Schedule
This event happens on the last Saturday of every month, starting at 10 a.m. PT/19:00 CET. The inaugural Community Bullet Brawl will be held on May 27, 2023.

The top-five finishers will receive Chess.com memberships:
Place | Prize |
1st | 6 months |
2nd | 2 months |
3rd | 1 month |
4th | 1 month |
5th | 1 month |
The Chess.com streamer who finishes the highest will receive a special prize of 10 gift subs on Twitch.
